This is a real movie! Well...hopefully it will be someday.
Empires of the Deep, previously known as Mermaid Island, was announced years ago and slated for release in 2010.

...a 200 million dollar budget, American and Chinese creation, the first underwater action adventure movie of all time...
And where the heck is it?
Oh well. Even with just a handful of pictures and a blurry trailer my interest is PEAKED. This movie has all the brilliant imagination of two continents, beautiful and terrifying character designs and massive sea bests that do battle thousands of miles below the oceans surface.
That's right, even James Cameron's new movie is a rip off

Oh well, regardless of how it turns out and when it shows up I wanted to honor the idea.
The image here is actually a She-Predator doll image heavily modified using nature footage and effects.

YEAH, where would a supposed $200mil budget blockbuster be shelved? Why not go the full Nine Yards and release?

The costumes, I don't usually buy them until I see them in their world rather than on set.
